Pathfinder has long been one of our favorite sports SUVs from Nissan. He always had gross edges of the body, which looks very appetizing.
He also has all the benefits of civilization and engineering, which can only be wishing, including navigation, abundance of cameras and satellite radio. He even has elements such as heated steering and adjustable pedals, this is what real comfort means. But, despite this, driving on it is still a little rough, and management looks like managing a huge house on wheels. And it creates that in terms of impassability, any other all -wheel drive SUV in this regard is more passable.
I like the torque that produces the V6 engine, and most importantly, Nissan holds the variator gearbox for now, far from Pathfinder. Regarding sound insulation – on the one hand, road noise, like the sound from tires or a motor is practically not heard, but on the other hand, when a large truck passes by, it seems that the whole cabin begins to resonate. But the latter can complain about other SUVs of this price segment, so this is not a big minus.
Although we are fans of all previous Pathfinder, the third -generation Nissan Pathfinder is really improved in many ways, like an internal space, the number of different chips, a motor and many other little things, even more durable Nissan spare parts.
However, we were a little surprised by the price of this car – it is painfully overstated, because despite all the pluses and rich configurations, this car has quite strong competitors.
We have not tested Nissan Pathfinder on the road for a long time, but despite this, we were very impressed with a 4-liter V6 engine V6. It provides sufficient power, compare the one that develops V8.
This Pathfinder has a huge cabin with three rows of seats that fold.
This Nissan Pathfinder is a little similar to the 2012 Ford Explorer. But for some strange reason, when you go to Pathfinder, it seems that you are going on the tires lowered – the ride is very soft than other mid -senior SUVs cannot boast, but still the quality of driving and management is not at an altitude.
At the same time, there are a lot of functional elements, buttons, twists and drawers in the cabin. Seats are comfortable and soft, which is very good.
In general, we will look forward to the new Nissan Pathfinder 2013.
