In the desert, not far from the city of Las Vegas, Audi held the next tests of the “charged” version of the future station wagon Audi A6. Quite by chance were local paparazzi nearby!
The test copy of the Audi RS6 Avant of the new generation can be recognized by the following features: paired pipes of the racing exhaust system, which are placed on the sides of the rear of the car, are also flooded with special motor oils for engines; huge wheels with a carbon-ceramic brake system; improved front bumper with massive air intakes and splitter.
Journalists managed to find out that the interior of the novelty would be replenished with new racing seats, a sports wheel and decorative elements from carbon and aluminum.
The new family of the Audi RS6 model, the production of which will be put in the sedan and “universal” bodies, plan to equip the new 4.A 0-liter engine, which was created by the joint efforts of the Germans and Bentley engineers.
Basin V-shaped “eight” with a pair of turbines will have a capacity of about 550 horsepower. Thanks to which, up to the first hundred, Audi RS6 will be able to accelerate in 5 seconds. At the same time, the maximum speed of the car will reach 250 km/h, and the software limiter will not allow it to rise above it.
The premiere of the Audi RS6 will be held next year, and at the Autumn Motor Show in Frankfurt, the German company will show models S6, S7 and S8.
