We have repeatedly suggested that you look at the spy pictures of the updated 5-Series, but each time the car was wrapped in camouflage. Today the Chinese site Auto.163 published two espionage photos, which captured a completely unmasking prototype of facelifting 2014 BMW 5-Series.
Now we can say with 100 percent confidence that the main changes relate to the front bumper, which received new large fog lights trimmed with chromium.
The profile of the car remained practically unchanged, while a slightly tilted bumper is thrown into the back of the eye.
Unlike our previous episodes of spy photographs, in which cars with round -shaped exhaust pipes were captured, this prototype is oval. But it cannot be ruled out that such an exhaust will become a feature for models oriented to the Chinese market.
The salon will also undergo minor changes. As for the engine line, they will be completely transferred from the current version.
The updated BMW 5-Series should debut next week in Geneva or in April at the Auto Show in Shanghai.
